  A selection of very attractively priced freshly prepared light bites is available - from GBP 2.75 for Garlic Ciabàtta slices to GBP 3.50 for a Bowl of Champ with Fried Egg and Sliced Granary Bread.

  The bar serves real ale, keg beer, lagers and cider – all kept in excellent condition, and there is a good wine cellar. There is a television in the corner, usually turned on for popular sporting events, with the sound kept down to an unobtrusive level. The atmosphere is very relaxing with ‘real background’ music that does not pervade a quiet conversation.
