The value of family life has always been important to Landlord and Head Chef, Tim Collins, from his time at home when his culinary skills were inspired by his uncle, and his earlier career days when he worked in an Italian family restaurant in Bristol.

The Italians love children and are able to express this in a way that is difficult to emulate - too non-English for most Englishmen. The influence of the Italian way of life, and their love of children, steered a course for his later career and own family life.

Shortly after he met and married his wife Joi, they opened Duets in Weston super Mare. This was their first project and they both worked hard to build up a successful restaurant.

During this time their son Luke was born and later, as a small child, Luke was able help with their next venture in the Almshouse Restaurant in Axbridge, soon befriending a number of customers’ children on many occasions when Tim and Joi were entertaining them.

With these naturally sincere family ties the term “child friendly” has a true meaning for Tim and Joi at Seasons Restaurant.

Families with children are warmly welcomed, and high chairs are provided for infants. There is a good selection of half price dishes for children, and they can enjoy the light bite bar snacks, also attractively priced.
