CHRISTMAS DINNER 2006

"This year our meal was held at The Whistling Duck, Banwell, which for the past year has been under the ownership of chef Tim Collins. Tim was first the owner of Duets, when it was known as Mickey’s Diner. He moved to The Alms Houses in Axbridge and was head chef at the Woodborough, Winscombe. He is now building up trade rapidly, with good food at The Duck.

The food and ambience at our dinner were excellent and those who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We can highly recommended the venue- and perhaps more of our members will be able to join us next year for our Christmas celebrations!"
